Come out and see us! Current and past shareholders of our farm–and new friends interested in stopping by–are invited to come tour the fields on Sunday, June 12th from noon to 5pm. This early season tour is a result of our participation in the Univ. of IL Extension’s program “Open Fields Farm Tour,” and we hope to see many of our past and present shareholders for this event.

The free Farm Tour event is a multiple site, self-guided tour. There’s no need for you to sign up—just show up! Here you can see the complete list of northern Illinois farms that are participating. The idea is that you custom design your own route. (And why not pack a picnic for the family?) At Angelic Organics we’ll be offering guided tours every half hour by Farmer John and/or members of the farm crew. So If you have wondered what we are all about, come out and enjoy a visit with us. Our fields are looking great and our harvest season starts next week! There is still time to sign up for a share this year: the last day to signup for 20-week vegetable shares is Thursday, June 9th (and we need to receive your check by the following day to ensure you get the first delivery next week). We also have several 12-week vegetable shares left; these start in mid-August, and you can signup for either at http://angelicorganicsfarm.csasignup.com/members.
