Angelic Organics has two delivery sites in Hyde Park. Please make sure you go to the one listed here (on Kenwood.)
This site is on the east side of Kenwood; Kenwood is a one-way street heading north and should be approached from 55th Street, about half a block north of 55th. It is about 7 blocks west of Lake Shore Drive and is sandwiched between Dorchester (to the east) and Kimbark (to the west).
Heading north from 55th, it is the second house on your right after a large parking lot. It is a brick house with a gabled roof, white trim, a white porch and “5459” over the door.
There is often space on the street to pull up near the house (there is a park on the other side of the street). But if you have to leave the truck in the parking lot it takes a bit of walking to get to the backyard. It’s the second house down from the parking lot.
You need a key to the gate beside the house to get into the backyard where the boxes need to be delivered. The key to the gate will be under the front mat.
Very important: make sure you leave the gate propped open when you leave so that people who come and pick up their boxes later in the day can get through the gate to their box.
Where to Stack the Vegetable Boxes
Stack the vegetable boxes behind the house, under the porch.
Where to Stack the Fruit Boxes
Stack the fruit boxes on the steps to the basement door.
Where to Pick Up Empty Boxes
Pick up the empty, flattened boxes from the PVC box storage bin which will be beside the porch.
