How to Have the Best Shareholder Experience

Our house is located on Asbury, between Greenleaf and Crain, on the east side of the street. There are several parking spaces directly in front of our house, as well as on Crain Street which is around the corner.
Where To Find Your Box
Boxes will be stored in the garage at the end of the driveway. For now, the main garage door will open during pick-up hours. Eventually, we will fix the side door to the garage, which currently doesn’t function, and you can enter the garage that way.
Where to Return Your Recycled, Flattened Vegetable Box
Return your empty, flattened box to the PVC box storage bin.
Special Requests From Your Site Host
Since the driveway is narrow, and there is the potential for people to get blocked in, it will be best to park on the street in front of the house, or around the corner on Crain Street.
Please wear a mask when coming to pick up your box this season.
Be A Good Neighbor
- Be sure to find the vegetable share labeled with your name. If you are signed up for a fruit share, your fruit share is also labeled by name.
- If someone else will be picking up your share(s) for you, please remind them to take only the share(s) labeled with your name.
- Be sure to flatten your empty vegetable box and stack it in the designated location for recycling.
- Please recycle fruit boxes on your own; do not return them to your pickup site.
- Your site host is providing a very generous contribution to your community and to the farm by making this site available. Please make an extra effort to help keep this site clean and tidy.
Thank you!
Site Host Profile
We’re thrilled to be a host site again this year with Angelic Organics! This is our third year as a host site and while we’re sad that we can’t invite you to hang out, chat, or play in our backyard like we usually like to do on Tuesdays, we’ll be excited to wave (from a safe distance!) as you come to pick up your amazing vegetables.
Warmly, Stacey, Ryan, Russell, Douglas & Malcolm Cloud
My family and I have been shareholders for the past few seasons, since moving to Evanston from New York City, where we were longtime CSA members. We’re most excited about meeting and getting to know all the shareholders each week as you come to collect your vegetables! With that in mind, please feel free to hang out and chat, bring any kids you may have with you to play in the back yard (we have a five year old and two year old twins who will be thrilled to play!), volunteer to be a greeter one week, and get to know the other shareholders.
I’m looking forward to setting up some community events as well—a couple of ideas include a shareholder potluck that we’re happy to host in our yard, and a group trip out to the farm—and I’m excited to hear your ideas too—let’s build community around learning more about where our food comes from, enjoying each other’s company, and of course the delicious vegetables!
